Team was started in December of 1995. The company was built
from the ground up based on customer service. Our
company vision is to provide a number of audio visual
services, while maintaining a strong foundation built
around assisting our customers in achieving the exact
meeting, convention, tradeshow or residential /
commercial theater they want, at a reasonable cost. The AV Team
is able to provide a quality product with excellent
service via a unique, worldwide network of vendors
In most cases, we are able to provide equipment without
any shipping costs to our meeting and event
managers, which, as we all know, is a large portion
of the cost of any event. Since The AV Team does not
have the costs of equipment storage, we
are able to concentrate on what is really important:
Ty Farley, President and Owner of The AV Team, has
worked in the audio visual industry for over 20 years.
He began The AV Team because he identified an incredible
shortage, and need, of companies that would spend
the time, effort and money to really find out and
provide what their customers needed. He has since
invested an enormous amount of time into making his
dream of creating a successful company, with customer
needs in mind, into a reality.
Many companies have great tag lines and print customer
service on all of their brochures, but we here at
The AV Team have built our entire company around
"Making Friends and Taking Care of Them".
We have never done any advertising, nor do we ever
plan to. Our entire customer base was developed by
word of mouth. Word of mouth is the most effective
marketing tool in any industry and we have grown to
where we are today because of that.
